Summer School “Fichte on Deduction”

4- 5 August 2022

A Summer School on “Fichte on Deduction” will be held in Vienna from August 4 to August 5, 2022 (Thursday-Friday). In addition to lectures, there will be reading sessions in which previously published essays or new work by the speakers will be discussed.

The event will be held in English.

This event is the first of two to be held at the University of Vienna as part of an FWF-funded project on deduction in Early German idealism (1789-1795).
The second event will take place in Vienna in October 2022. The topic of the second workshop will be “Reinhold and Maimon on Deduction”. Further information will be announced at a later date.
